Our sustainability strategy has been developed through rigorous stakeholder engagement and is aligned with the global and regional agendas. Thereby improving our sustainability performance across our value chains, while positively impacting the lives of our employees, customers and communities.


The leadership qualities of our people have shone through in this difficult year. The immense talent within our Group has ensured we continued to operate fairly and ethically, whilst developing innovative responses to the coronavirus crisis. This kept our customers, partners, and people safe, and upheld our devotion to sustainability.


Because people are at the core of everything we do, we ensure that we continue to delight our customers and invest in our employees, and those working within our supply chain to provide them with an inclusive and safe environment where opportunity exists for all.


We understand that the goals of our sustainability strategy can be truly realised when our business partners and suppliers equally embrace the sustainability principles which are essential to us. This year we have taken a step forward and have discussed with several partners our sustainability priorities and how they can support us in achieving them.


We all know that when it comes to the planet, we don’t have an option 2, we realised this long ago and since then have been working on identifying and managing our environmental impacts. The environmental aspects that were high on our agenda this year included better tracking our Group-wide carbon footprint, shifting to renewable energy and reducing our waste generation.


We firmly believe that the secret to living is giving. For us, being a successful business is about how we can better the lives of the people around us. Through engaging our employees, we have impacted hundreds of thousands of lives.
