Focus areas

Supporting education

Education is an important area where we can have a positive impact on the community.

We provide funds and tools to support youth in their education journey, such as donating smartboards and air-conditioners to schools or the provision of school bags and stationary supplies to students. In 2018, we distributed 14,990 school bags in 9 different communities in the region.

We also support young people in developing their leadership skills through trainings, mentorship programs and lectures.

Supporting environmentalism

We engage our employees in several activities throughout the year that help to protect our local environment while spreading awareness about global environmental challenges.

We conduct clean-up and tree planting events as well as engage in awareness activities to spread knowledge about energy efficiency and recycling too.

Supporting humanitarianism

We have a well-established tradition of supporting charities and making contributions to humanitarian aid. We do this by providing corporate donations, working in partnership with charities and other philanthropic organisations, as well as by supporting our employees in fundraising or other activities that help people in need.

At a corporate level, we work in partnership with Dubai Cares and Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) to give financial aid to children and adults in need of basic amenities and educational support.

These actions are backed by the active engagement of our people who have participated throughout 2018 in a wide range of humanitarian projects.
