TALENT DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING

In 2021, 16 executives trained under our Executive Leadership Programme, and it became policy that anyone who leads at Chalhoub Group should transform to servant leadership – focusing primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong, putting the needs of their people first, and empowering their teams for success. The progression towards effective servant leadership is being guided by our Behaviours for success framework and measured by data and analytics through our Leadership Dashboard.

Our ‘It Starts with You’ programme empowers our employees to seize control of their own careers by honing their skills and talents through the wealth of training modules offered to them online at Chalhoub University.

We’ve also created 20 job families and defined sub-families within them, based on technical competencies and skillsets required for every role, to help provide our employees with clear paths for career growth.
